Thank you for visiting my site and taking an interest in my craft.
I’ve always enjoyed working with metal and shaping it into useful tools or art. During my career working as a mechanic, welder and fabricator, I would often find opportunities to fabricate, saving the company time and money.
In 2002 I took my first Norwegian Knifemaking course, taught by Gene Tokheim, through the North House Folk School in Grand Marais, Minnesota. In 2004 I took my first blacksmithing class. Since then I’ve continued taking knifemaking and blacksmithing classes and assisted instructors in blacksmithing.
I enjoy the challenge of the Norwegian style knife because of all the different elements involved in its construction and finished look of the knife itself.
If you have an interest in any of my art, either as a fellow-artist or knife enthusiast, please contact me. It’s always great making new connections.
